Who Is Big Ed?

Big Ed's journey began when he fell for a girl named Rose from the Philippines through Facebook. He decided to take the leap and purchased a plane ticket to go see her. A friend suggested he apply for TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé, and so he did, launching his journey in Reality TV. During his time on the show, he gained notoriety for his quirky antics, including putting mayonnaise in his hair and having his mom Nair his back after lapping it on with a paint roller. He also gained firsthand experience of what it was like to live in the Philippines as he was chased around the country by monkeys and slummed on the pig farm.

Big Ed's debut on the first season of 90 Day Fiancé immediately piqued people's interest, thanks to his unique and unfiltered personality, as well as his questionable life choices. However, it was not just his behavior that caught people's attention, but also his unconventional appearance. Standing at just 4'11" and living with Klippel-Feil syndrome, a rare disorder where two or more vertebrae in the neck are fused together from birth, Big Ed's physical features made him stand out even more. Despite this, he continued to captivate audiences with his larger-than-life persona, quickly becoming a fan favorite and a memorable figure in the world of Reality TV.

It’s not a secret as to why his relationship with Rose did not work out, but his journey in reality TV continued on the spinoff, 90 Day Fiancé: The Single Life, where he met Liz at his favorite restaurant in San Diego, Ca. Since then, it has been a roller coaster for Big Ed and Liz Woods, from 90 Day Fiancé: The Single Life to couples therapy with Dr. Dana McNeil and a runaway Fiancé on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After. Now, fans are eagerly waiting to see what's next for the couple.
